Welcome from the Governing Body

In conjunction with the Headteacher the governing body of Wyken Croft School is responsible for setting the ethos and vision of the school, challenge & identify areas where the school needs to improve and planning how to make those improvements. It makes sure that the educational performance of pupils is strong and that the budget is used properly and effectively.

Wyken Croft Governing Body is structured to allow Governors to focus on 3 key governor areas:

• Standards – includes Behaviour for Learning, Curriculum, EYFS, Enrichment, Quality of Teaching & Learning, Outcomes, British Values, Training, SMSC, Pupil Voice and Parentview
• Finance – includes Budget, SVFS, Finance, HR, Health & Safety, Buildings & Site and Compliance
• Safeguarding – includes, Safeguarding, E-Safety, Exclusions and SCR (Single Central Record)
